Hello! it’s been some time!

So i took a longish break due to my “favorite internet activity,” being bullied over the internet.

I’m a sensitive type of person and when this happens I like to leave give my self a break so i can come back and defend myself, or kick some ass if needed.

And then due to some personal tragedies I have not had time to be on the tumblr. I wasn’t ready for the social interaction. But doing some research in relation to a tragedy i’ve made plans to return.

But I’m planning to return With and informative NSFW comic about sex/sexual aids (not the virus but toys, lubes, etc!)

I wanted to give everyone fair warning before i just suddenly popped up with comic in hand-as a i know a lot of people might not want to see sexual comics. But that’s everyone’s choice.

I will come up with a tag for the comic, and will warn again before I post. For sure-if you’re concerned, block the NSFW tag. But i will try and come up with a specific tag for this comic.

Now the nature of this comic, is not going to be offensive (my personal opinion.) My plan is for it to inform. But i know some people are offended by nipples, or even exposed bra straps-so i’m warning now if this isn’t gonna be your cup a tea-i’m gonna tag. But comic aside, I look forward to seeing everyone again soon. :>

And I will soon also have some answers for my yyh blog! Life just came in and gave everything a good kick in the teeth. But i’d like to hit back, and so that’s what this comic is going to do for me. Hit tragedy in the face!

so see you all soon.

Anyone got deets on this film?

Here’s what I got from the Facebook:

OUT IN THE NIGHT (formerly titled The Fire This Time) follows the journey of a group of African American teenagers who went to a gay-friendly neighborhood in New York City for a night out. These lesbian and gender non-conforming friends, Patreese, Renata, Terrain and Venice, were confronted by an older man on the street. They defended themselves. Strangers jumped in to support them and a fight ensued. Only the women were rounded up by police and charged and convicted as perpetrators of gang assault. They became known as The New Jersey 4.OUT IN THE NIGHT follows their journey to Rikers Island, to the courtroom, and through slanderous media coverage that labeled them a “Wolfpack” and “Lesbian Gang”. While exploring the fight from all sides through the security camera footage that captured it, that hot August night in 2006 can be seen from many perspectives. But our film’s purpose is to examine the events after the fight: biased media coverage likening the women to “man-hating” animals, and unprecedentedly harsh sentencing by the court. This story shows how four young, queer women of color were unfairly criminalized for defending themselves.

It’s currently running the film festival circuit, but you can keep checking the website for new screenings: www.outinthenight.com
